Are you open to experiencing a friendship that reaches beyond border lines? Join us for a weekend as our friends invite us with open hearts and arms into their lives in the impoverished neighborhood of El Florido in Tijuana, Mexico. Together we not only build homes but also share our lives. We grow in understanding of each other's realities as we lay the foundation of a new home for the family of Norma and Jose Luis de Jesus Nuñez, share meals together, visit a shelter for migrants, and learn about border issues. Click here for more info about Casa Building.

When: Friday, September 8th 5:30 PM to Sunday, September 10th (6pm-ish)
Where: Southern California and Tijuana, Mexico
Who: Ages 10+, minors (under 18) must be accompanied by at least one parent

Suggested contribution: $150. This is used to cover the cost of transportation, food, supplies, lodging, and building materials.  Contributions will be accepted using any of the following:
     Check: $150 made payable to Christus Ministries mailed to PO Box 4525, Culver City, CA 90231
     Paypal: $154.65 (extra charge to cover PayPal's transaction fee).

Cancellations 14 or more days prior to the start date of the trip will receive a full refund. If your reservation is cancelled less than 14 days of the start of the retreat, you will receive a credit applicable toward a future trip.

Once notified by a team member, you will have two weeks to send in your check or make arrangements with us before your spot opens up for someone else.
