What: An adventure letting the grandeur of Yosemite (John Muir's "heaven on earth") uncover God’s beauty through nature and in one another.

Who: For past participants of Caritas or other Christus Ministries Retreats. Space is very limited to the first 30 who commit and send payment. Your spot is not confirmed until payment is received.

Dates: Depending on either option you choose below:

1. Weekend Adventurer Option ($350): May 30 (4 pm) – June 2 (6 pm)

Day 1: Depart Los Angeles at 11:30 am to the Redwoods Cabins near Wawona, CA
Day 2: Visit waterfalls; take short hikes; possibly swim in the Merced Lake; Sunset and evening Mass at Glacier Point
Day 3: All-day hike: Vernal & Nevada Falls; Sunday Mass; an evening of conversations & games
Day 4: 10 am departure, arrive in LA by 6 pm
Optional: Intimate dinner at C&O in Venice Beach followed by Sunset at Venice Beach

2. Extreme Trekker Option ($475): May 27 (7 am) – June 2 (6 pm)

This option includes a backpacking trip to Half Dome before joining the participants of the Weekend Adventure above. You really need to be in shape and willing to make this very strenuous and difficult, yet exhilarating trip. This added portion has a limited capacity of only 8 people and costs an additional $125. Please confirm you are a right fit for this adventure by emailing Fr. Tri (tdinh@christusministries.org) before registering and sending in your payment for this portion of the trip.

Extreme Trekker Option: $475 or $490 with PayPal fees
Transportation costs (gas for carpool, car entrance fee, etc.) are not included.

Accommodations: Space is very limited. Sleeping arrangements may vary (most are shared) and beds are assigned on a first-paid basis. Couch or floor sleeping arrangements will be assigned thereafter. All restrooms are shared.
