WHAT DO YOU THIRST FOR?
Through the desolation, through the longing, through the thirst, we can receive the living waters that Jesus promises.
SUBTLE SHIFTS
May we trust that God is at work in our lives and our hearts and remain open to His love.
TO BE HUMAN
In the middle of everyday life, when things feel chaotic and overwhelming, how can I center myself on Jesus?
FINDING THE “GOOD” IN GOOD FRIDAY
The cup given to me in this season is grief, but I don’t have to drink this cup alone.
NOT SKIPPING THE HARD PARTS
Jesus shows me what it’s like to not take the easy way out. He gives meaning to my suffering. He’s with me in it.
JESUS’ HUMANITY
Perhaps Jesus’ divinity is something I’m more aware of in my head than in my heart.
OVER-THE-TOP
Let us be caught up in the drama of God’s extravagant love through Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection.
LOOK UPON HIM
What if I imagined Jesus looking at me, addressing me by name, saying: “Jen, take them out. Take out my nails.”
I AM NOT DISGRACED
God gives me gifts and talents to be more than I can ever imagine. I am not defined by my sins. I am not disgraced. I am a child of God.
WE ALL HAND OTHERS OVER TO SUFFERING
When we are willing to confess that we often hand those we love over to suffering, even against our best intentions, we encounter God’s forgiving love.
BEYOND CLOSED DOORS
“Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” – Jn. 20:29
