TOPIC
Where is God in all of this suffering?
SHARING I (choose 1 or both questions)
What did I learn or discover when:
I reflected on “Which created things in my life do I not see as gifts? Why?” or
”Which gifts hinder, or keep me from moving towards God? How so?”I asked someone I trust: “What is one area in my life I am not looking at or you notice I am afraid to tackle?”
How am I doing (feeling physically, mentally, spiritually) since the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic 10 days ago?
MAIN INPUT
Where is God in all of this suffering?
What does God need from us?
The gift is in the opportunity or the invitation?
SHARING II
What opportunities do these days of staying at home beckon me to grow spiritually or learn in faith?
How do I honestly feel about the above opportunities or invitations?
PRAXIS
WK 1: Practice your response to the opportunities to grow or learn. Do Ignatian noting twice.
Week 2: Have a conversation with someone whom you deeply trust & ask the following question, “What is one area in my life I am not looking at or you notice I am afraid to tackle?” Give this person some time to think about his/her response beforehand and schedule a time to talk. Try to listen with presence & tenderness, as described in the prior months. Practice Ignatian noting afterward.
WK 3 & 4: Check in with your accountability partner to share your experience with the “opportunity to grow” and/or honest conversation from Wk 2.
