TAKING THE NEXT STEP
Each time we renew our baptismal promises, we recommit ourselves to a life in relationship with Jesus.
THE BEST MAN
John the Baptist’s genuine joy and acceptance is something that I aspire to in my own marriage and personal life.
THE GREATEST GIFT
Dear God, thank you for giving us the greatest gift of all, your son Jesus and His sacrifice and infinite love for us.
OH, BROTHER!
Lord, give me the grace to extend generosity and forgiveness in my family relationships, be they chosen or given.
PERFECT LOVE DRIVES OUR FEAR
I remember that God loves me by looking back on all the good things He has done within my life.
LOOK AT YOUR LOAVES
God always makes good on his promise to match our gifts, such as they are, with his own.
REVEALING LIFE
Epiphany is God's “big reveal.” It is not only God showing who Jesus is to the world. It is also revealing who we all are to God.
WHERE DO GOD LIVE?
To care for and educate the poor is to care for Jesus in the poor, the migrant, the homeless.
TO BE LOVED (IM)PERFECTLY
None of us will have it all figured out. But what we can do is remember that God already loves us as we are.
MODERN DAY CAPPADOCIANS
The times are hard, yet they are also filled with good. This is the only time we are given and, for better or worse, it’s a good time to follow Jesus.
BEING LED
Mary was able to dwell, reflect and meditate on the small cairns on the road and keep them close to her heart.
A JAR OVERFLOWING
When we who are filled to the brim and overflowing, bring that love and joy to others, we see the Word dwelling among us.
WHAT I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR
Do I sense God revealing himself to me in unexpected or surprising ways today?
A SECOND FAMILY
Reading today’s gospel reminds me of not only the strength of Joseph but also the true power of the Holy Family.
IN REMEMBRANCE
The sadness of today’s Gospel is repeated over and over in our world, and we are called to stay attuned to it!
NOT ENOUGH?
Today reminds me that I need to keep learning the way to let God well up in my life and to trust that he’ll multiply the offering and make bounty of my not-enough.
WHAT IS YOUR GIFT?
Deep within us, there is an indelible and intangible beauty, an irrepressible beauty, which is the core of our being.
