The shepherd faithfully leaves the flock for the search. The eternal pattern of God's love for humanity goes on.
THE IMMACULATELY WINDING ROAD
But with God, often the winding road is, in fact, the immaculate one.

Advent & Christmas aren’t celebrations of nice ideas, but rather special moments to be grounded in the real, historical truth of God’s love for us.
THIS TOO SHALL PASS
I am no longer short-circuiting the graces God wishes to transmit into the depths of my heart.
REPEAT THE SOUNDING JOY
Never could I imagine God’s grace reaching into the depths of my soul where I thought were hopeless.
I’M STUMPED
Lord, this is me right now. I offer you what remains. If you so choose, come and plant a seed, take root, and live in me.
BEING CLAIMED AS GOD’S BELOVED
In the midst of all the learning, unknowns, worries, and excitement, Jesus invites me to claim my identity in God.
AN EPIPHANY: FEAR AND AWE, ALWAYS JOY
This is the Epiphany - an overwhelming joy at the encounter of Emmanuel, “God among us,” even in the midst of challenges such as fear.
CONNECTION FROM DISCONNECTION
What a wonderful paradox – that God can create connection from disconnection and life from death.
BEING PERFECT IS OVERRATED
Even as I face my perfectionism and stumble at times, God will not stop calling for me.
