AN INVITATION TO HONEST CONVERSATION
Are you willing to have an honest conversation with God this Lent?
ASK. SEEK. KNOCK.
Do I hear an invitation to greater trust with God who has the welfare of my heart?
RETURNING, AS I AM
Perhaps He isn’t looking for perfection from me, but rather He is just looking or waiting for me as I am.
A SEASON OF DEEPENING SOLIDARITY
In the midst of all this brokenness and mess, somehow Jesus’ presence feels so strong.
GRACE OF FAILURE
Perhaps the challenge to be perfectly merciful is also a beckoning to receive mercy in greater measure.
RECONCILIATION NOT CONDEMNATION
The love of Christ freely given to us each and every day shows us that true reconciliation is possible.
WHOLE HEARTED
Instead of imagining God somewhere off in the distance, judging my worth, I imagine God sitting beside me at the kitchen table.
BROKEN – AND, RESCUED
For me, I have been comforted in God’s closeness – God’s been in the passenger seat accompanying me through it all, suffering with me.
GOD’S RESTING PLACE
I invite us to let our soul rest in God and to allow God to rest upon us today.
GOD'S COVENANT WITH US
God invites us to remember that we were made to be in a loving relationship with him.
TO BE LED BY JESUS
Pope Francis invites young people to have dreams that are "real, with our gaze always facing the horizon."
HE DOESN'T KNOW ME
Lent may feel like a lonely desert at times, but it is also a rainbow filled with promise and hope.
GOD LOVES WHAT IS IRRITATING
“You have heard that it was said, you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you ...” – Mt. 5:43-45
Love is a choice to reach beyond ourselves to nurture the spiritual growth of ourselves or another.
STEP BY STEP
“Do I not rejoice when they turn from their evil way and live?” – Ez 18:23b
God rejoices when I take steps towards Him...
RECEIVING BY PRAYER
“Ask, and you will receive. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you…” – Mt. 7, 11
Our praying is already God answering within us and through us.
GOD WANTS TO FORGIVE AND HEAL
Jesus preached to the people, asking them to repent, just as the Ninevites had done, saying, "They turned from their sins when they heard Jonah preach." – Lk. 11:32
God wants to forgive, heal, restore, show us endless mercy, and see us come home.
WHY SHOULD I PRAY?
“Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” – Mt. 6:8
Prayer is a gift that draws me into an intimate relationship allowing me to discern the desires God puts in my heart.
