SURPRISE ENDINGS
Are we leaving enough room to be surprised by God?
A GREAT TIME FOR RAIN
And then I forage beneath the judgmental surface of my life and think, “well, isn’t this God.”
BELIEVING IS SEEING
As I’m continually taught to accept my limitations and weaknesses, to embrace my blindness, my mind and heart shift to God’s love and God’s grace.
FROM HEAD TO HEART
My hope is to put down my shield, let go of needing to know why certain life events happen, and let God’s love take deeper root once more.
LET LOVE FLOW
No to-do list, just open hands. Willingness to receive. How incredibly freeing!
TRUST IN GOD’S VOICE, HEED HIS COMMANDS
Despite every answered prayer being met with my doubts, God continued to provide signs that I was exactly where He wanted me to be.
WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS
When conflicts arise it's easier to see where the other person is at fault. Sometimes we've been wronged, and yet still God calls us to greater love.
FORGIVENESS OVER A LIFETIME
Jesus knows that forgiveness is sometimes elusive and recurring. There are some people I'm called to keep forgiving over and over.
LIVING WATER
For most of my life, I was drawing water out of the wrong well, not knowing Jesus is the living water.
FINDING MY WAY BACK TO GOD
I’ve realized that all the crosses that I bore up to this point in my life have given me the grace to know how much Jesus loves me in all I am.
“Remember the marvels the Lord has done.”
In looking back at the places where God has shown up in the past, I can be encouraged that God will continue to show up for me.
FAILING AT FLOSSING… AND OTHER EXERCISES IN HUMILITY
But if I am truly being honest with myself, how different am I from the mother in the Gospel?
WHAT WORDS EMPOWER YOU?
God's love strengthens and uplifts me to be compassionate and recognize my belovedness and that of those with whom I may be struggling.
LISTENING TO GOD’S GENTLE VOICE
Lord, help me listen to your small voice that whispers, “I am with you. You are seen, known, and loved.”
UNCHAIN MY HEART
I entrust these chains to God, asking for the strength to overcome and handle these things little by little.
